Service Protection Dogs for World Peace Non-Profit Foundation
Service Protection Dogs for World Peace, Inc.
This Foundation was formed when the need for PTSD Service Dogs for Veterans had reached a staggering number, and your donations are used to allow a Veteran to acquire a PTSD Service Dog, which may also be trained in Mobility Assistance & Retrieval of Objects.
Each of these Service Dogs goes through vigorous training & Certification.
The Foundation is run by a Board of Directors which administers the funds from donations.
An Application is required to be considered as a candidate and all necessary paperwork is forwarded to the Board of Directors for their decision which will allow the non profit to collect donations on behalf of each individual Veteran who is diagnosed with PTSD.
Each Veteran will provide a profile of their status while serving & all DDR papers & awards.
These profiles will be published to give hope to other Veterans that there is a way to obtain a trained & Certified Service Dog which meets the requirements of the ADA. The ADA had to make the procedures to get on a plane more stringent & proper paperwork is needed, as there are still many people who do not have professionally trained animals & cause a nuisance on a plane, making it hard on trained Service Dogs access to planes, restaurants & hotels.
The Goals of the Foundation are to produce highly trained dogs which are Custom Trained for the needs of each individual Veteran & delivered to their homes as part of the program.
An example of popular breeds used in our program are German Shepherds, Labrador Retrievers, Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherds, and Rottweilers.
Dawn Hoppe oversees the acquisition, training, Certification & Delivery of each dog in this program. The standard of Training & Certification are Top in the Field of Service Dogs.
Your contribution is tax deductible.
Please consider giving a Donation to one of the PTSD Veterans in our program so that they may be helped with a trained & Certified Service Dog.
Each Veteran has a profile that you can read about, with their story of the War & Duties in which they served our Country. This allows you to choose the Veteran who should receive the funds.
You can also donate to the general fund which will be distributed by the Board of Directors on a Case Basis with the #1 PTSD Veteran in the program receiving funding to complete the training & delivery of his/ her Custom Trained Service Dog from Service Protection Dogs For World Peace Inc. - a 501(c)(3) organization.
